ArtsGroupie's Christmas Ghost Story Contest

ArtsGroupie CIC is thrilled to announce the launch of the “Ghost Stories for Christmas” contest, a spine-chilling celebration of creativity and community spirit. This contest invites writers aged 16 and over to craft original, Christmas ghost-themed stories for a chance to win exciting prizes and have their work featured on ArtsGroupie’s website. The winning entry will have their work performed at Shakespeare North Playhouse on Saturday, 16th November.

Terms and Conditions for Christmas Ghost Story Contest

By submitting an entry to the “Christmas Ghost Story Contest” hosted by ArtsGroupie CIC, entrants agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility:

 

Entrants must be aged 16 and over.
Entries must be original works of the entrant.

Submission Guidelines:

 

Entries must be Christmas ghost-themed.
Submissions must not exceed 500 words.
Entries must be received by midnight on 12th December 2023.

General Conditions:

 

ArtsGroupie CIC reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate the submission guidelines or are deemed inappropriate.
ArtsGroupie CIC is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
Decisions of the judges are final and binding.

Prizes:

 

Three winners will be selected, with the first-place winner receiving a prize worth £150, the second-place winner receiving a prize worth £75, and the third-place winner receiving a prize worth £25.
The top three entrants will have their work published on ArtsGroupie’s website.

Publication:

 

ArtsGroupie CIC will publish the winning entries on its website.

Rights:

 

Entrants retain the copyright and ownership of their submitted works.
By submitting an entry, entrants grant ArtsGroupie CIC the non-exclusive right to publish, display, and promote the submitted work on the ArtsGroupie website (www.ArtsGroupie.org).
Entrants are free to publish their work elsewhere without seeking permission from ArtsGroupie CIC.

Announcement:

 

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, 13th December 2023 via ArtsGroupie CIC’s social media accounts.

Notification of Winners:

 

Winners will be notified by email.

Agreement:

 

By submitting an entry, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
ArtsGroupie CIC reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions if necessary.
