ArtsGroupie is a Liverpool-based, working-class collective making waves in arts & heritage—since 2018, we’ve produced 9 plays, including Kitty, Queen of the Washhouse, which alone has sold over 7,000 tickets.
This year, we’re delivering 75 free community events.
But here's the thing: we’ve done all this without core funding. We work project-to-project, often struggling to be taken seriously outside of Liverpool for being Scousers.
This summer, we’ve been invited to take two powerful shows to the Edinburgh Fringe – a massive opportunity to put working-class Scouse artists on the map.
We’re raising £7,000 to cover accommodation, travel, and production costs. If you believe arts should be for everyone – not just those with connections – please donate and share.
Even the smallest donation can make a big difference.
If all of our contacts, people who have been on our Workshops, attended our plays or walking tours, donate at least a QUID, this will really help us with our mission to showcase the work of ArtsGroupie CIC in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Also, if you use social media, you can help us by sharing the post about this fundraiser and help to spread the word. Thank you.
Please note, our regular newsletter will be towards the end of the month with details of lots more FREE activities in MAY – walking tours – archive workshops and much more.
